Introducing the New Range of Super Flexible CAT6 Cables from Emelec VíasCom
At Emelec VíasCom we listen to our customers and this helps us to keep moving forward together day by day for more than 30 years. Over the last few months we have been working to offer a solution to the recent demand for CAT6 LAN cables, hybrid hoses of multiple LAN, DMX and Power cables bundled into a single, highly flexible sheath. We are proud to be able to present it in full this new year 2024.
These hybrid hoses are available with different cable combinations inside. On the one hand, there are hoses in combinations of 2xLAN(Q16-6012) and 4xLAN(Q16-6014). These LAN hoses are also available with 1x3x2.50 mm² power supply inside in the form of 1xLAN + power supply(Q16-6020), 2xLAN + power supply(Q16-6022) and 4xLAN + power supply(Q16-6024). Finally, we also offer versions where LAN, DMX and Power are mixed as follows: 1xLAN + 1xDMX + Power(Q16-6030) and 2xLAN + 2xDMX + Power (Q16-6032).
In all these cases, the indoor LAN cable used is going to be our Q16-6000, a CAT.6 SF/UTP which is composed of23AWGsingle core conductors with double shielding of aluminum tape + tinned copper braid and a 6.30mm flexible PVC jacket. The power supply consists of 3 x 2.50mm² conductors inside a single 10.00mm flexible PVC jacket. The DMX balanced cable is 2×0.25mm² also with double shielding of aluminum tape + tinned copper braid and a 6.00mm flexible PVC jacket.
The 100% shielding coverage on both LAN and DMX cables gives them high protection against possible interference from the environment in which they will work. In addition, the extreme flexibility of the overall outer jacket gives these hybrid hoses a lot of versatility for use in any situation and ease of winding and unwinding quickly.
All these different combinations of cables in a single hose make them perfect for all types of applications that require sending multiple different signals at the same time you want to feed your own work equipment. They are specially designed for mobile audio networks such as for connecting stage racks with a mixing console that requires 2 LAN cables. They are compatible with different audio protocols such as Dante® and Ethersound® via LAN cables or AES/EBU for digital audio and DMX512 for lighting control via DMX balanced cables.
These hoses are sold by the meter according to each customer's needs. We also offer the option of buying these products already assembled with connectors upon request and even with the whole connection wound on a cable reel.
