Emelec VíasCom has a wide range of paral·lels speaker cables with transparents sheaths for speaker wiring that can be divided into two main groups according to their sheaths. One group includes cables with colored sheaths and the other group includes cables with transparent sheaths. In this article we focus on the different models classified in the latter group.
All our speaker cables paral·lels with transparents jackets are made of extra flexible PVC and their conductors are composed of oxygen-free copper in standard (OFC) or tinned version (OFC TC). Both with a purity of 99.99%.
The difference in each model of transparent cover is mainly in how the two conductors are polarized, although there are also differences in the phyllastics used.
- Polarized by the material of the conductors, one in OFC and the second in OFC TC.
- 0.10 mm phyllastic.
- Sections from 1.00 mm² to 6.00 mm².
- Polarized by the shape of the sheath: the sheath of one conductor has the usual circular shape while that of the other has a square shape.
- OFC oxygen-free copper conductors
- 0.10 mm phyllastic.
- Sections from 1.00 mm² to 6.00 mm².
- Polarized by the transparent color shade of the covers: the cover of one conductor has a standard transparent shade while that of the other has a bluish transparent shade. In both cases, the cover has a slightly opaque appearance resulting in the frosted effect of the cover.
- OFC oxygen-free copper conductors
- 0.10 mm phyllastic.
- Sections from 1.00 mm² to 4.00 mm².
- Polarized by the white line on one of the two covers.
- OFC TC tinned oxygen-free copper conductors.
- 0.12 mm phyllastic.
- Sections from 0.22 mm² to 1.50 mm².
- Polarized by the material of the conductors, one in OFC and the second in OFC TC.
- The 0.12 mm phyllastic differs from the Q191 series, which has 0.10 mm phyllastics.
- Sections from 0.22 mm² to 6.00 mm².
- Polarized by the red line on one of the two covers.
- OFC oxygen-free copper conductors.
- 0.12 mm phyllastic.
- Sections from 0.75 mm² to 2.50 mm².
- OFC and OFC TC oxygen-free copper conductors.
- Cross-sections vary from 0.22 mm² to 6.00 mm² depending on the model.
- Extra flexible PVC-FR flame retardant cover.
- The polarization of the conductors is given differently according to each model.
- Presentation in reels of 100m for all models and 500m for some of them.
