These cables, for industrial use and with small outer diameter, are designed for use in connectors type: SMA (SubMiniature version A), SMB (SubMiniature version B), MCX (Micro coaxial), Mini-BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman). The conductors of these multi-core cables are made of silver plated copper clad steel (SPCCS). This alloy gives them high conductivity and fast transmission. These cables, the insulators, are made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). This material has excellent dielectric properties for radio frequency transmissions. The shields, made of silver-plated OFC copper, offer a coverage of 95% (SPC). The silver plating incorporated in the metallic elements of the cable also prevents the oxidation process. The sheaths are constructed, according to the "Flame Retardant" UL VW1 test, in FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene), with extreme flexibility and high resistance, both mechanically and chemically. The service temperature is - 60° / + 200° C. Its applications, among others, can be found in: mobile phone, PC / peripherals, electronic applications, PDA electronic agenda, digital camera, GPS Global Positioning System, access to network devices, video / audio equipment, security equipment, medical equipment, lighting equipment, remote control, WLA Wireless Local Area Networks, auto telephone connection, hands-free voice controlled device, broadcasting equipment, identification card.
