Four-pair DMX AES/EBU cable carrier mounted hose with XLR M 5-pin / XLR H 5-pin Digital
Characteristics of the cable used:
- 24AWG Digital conductors of fine OFC copper wires.
- OFC spiral shield with 100% coverage.
- Extra flexible inner sheaths for each pair Ø 4.50 mm mm in different colours.
- Resistant UL-PVC flexible jacket Ø 13.00 mm in midnight blue colour.
These materials give the connection a high resistance to oxidation, ensuring a high transmission rate and low electrical resistance. The OFC copper spiral screen provides 100% coverage against outside interference. The flexible PVC used in the cover gives the connection softness, great flexibility and no memory effect.
The 5-pin XLR connectors are metal with silver-plated contacts and matte black housing.
DMX (Digital MultipleX) is an electronic protocol used in lighting technology for the control of professional lighting devices, allowing communication between lighting control equipment and the light sources themselves. It is the equivalent of the AES/EBU standard for digital audio. The main characteristic is the 110 Ohms of impedance that must maintain the cables in all their route. The mounted DMX cables of Emelec VíasCom are excellent for the transmission of this type of digital control data.
